RARE Princess Diana Beanie Babies are being offered at £250,000 or more in a collectors’ frenzy.

Diana toy frenzy: eBay sellers want millions for Beanie Baby
Some American eBay sellers are seeking millions of pounds for the plush soft toys.
One first-edition doll with a $350,000 price has had 61 offers, and nearly 600 collectors have put it on their “watch” list.
But experts say the figures have been skewed by hype and the doll is worth only around £30.
The purple doll has the usual Beanie Baby soft bear shape, with a white rose on its chest. It is one of a limited edition of “Princess” toys that went on on sale in 1997 for around £50. Beanie Babies expert Leon Schlossberg said: “eBay sellers have been trying to sell or auction Princesses for prices ranging from hundreds to millions of pounds.
“This is down to hype. A first edition is currently worth less than £30.”
Marcel Knobil, an expert on celebrity collections, said: “People are taking advantage of Diana’s brand.”
One eBay seller, dtrixie, says profits from her bear will go towards her mother’s medical bills.
