A TEENAGER had to have a chunk of her hand cut out after a venomous spider bit her as she watched a HORROR film.

Stephanie Georgiou, 18, was nipped by a suspected false widow at her local Cineworld cinema.
She said: “I felt a sudden sharp pain, like an electric shock. Afterwards I felt dizzy, hot then shivery. The bite grew, became sore and swollen.”
Stephanie needed an op to cut out the venom.
Four days later, after her condition worsened, she had another to halt the infection — and is due to have a skin graft tomorrow.
The childcare student said: “I have a hole in my hand. It’s so upsetting.”
Stephanie, of Enfield, North London, was watching Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones.
She said: “It’s about a teenager marked by a devil — and I was marked by a devilish spider.”
The false widow is the most venomous UK spider, although its bites have caused no reported deaths.
It likes dark, warm buildings to escape the cold — and numbers have surged to up to 10million.
Last night Cineworld said pest experts were inspecting the cinema.
